Taat Pada Tuhan / Obidience to the Lord (English)

We could read in <Mark 1 : 40-45>, Lord Jesus' the miracle when He healed the leper

40 And there came a leper to him, beseeching him, and kneeling down to him, and saying unto him, If thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.
41 And Jesus, moved with compassion, put forth his hand, and touched him, and saith unto him, I will; be thou clean.
42 And as soon as he had spoken, immediately the leprosy departed from him, and he was cleansed.
43 And he straitly charged him, and forthwith sent him away;
44 And saith unto him, See thou say nothing to any man: but go thy way, shew thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing those things which Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.
45 But he went out, and began to publish it much, and to blaze abroad the matter, insomuch that Jesus could no more openly enter into the city, but was without in desert places: and they came to him from every quarter.

This leper came to Jesus for healing, and Jesus is moved by compassion to heal him. Our Lord Jesus is the mighty healer

Let's us study this Word of God, and learn how we can move the Lord through His compassion

1. We ought to be Sincere and Clean Hearted
    A man who is Sincere and Clean Hearted is a man who kept the Truth which is  the  Word of God in his heart and mind

<Psalm 73:1>
Truly God is good to Israel, even to such as are of a clean heart

<Psalm 11:7>
For the righteous LORD loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright.

2. Fear of the Lord and stay away from Evil
<Psalm 31:20>
A Blessed be the LORD: for he hath shewed me his marvellous kindness in a strong city

3. Have compassion to fellow Man
<Matthew 19:19b>
. . .  hou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

<Matthew 22:39>
 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

One more lesson we can pick from this passage, that is to be obidience to the Lord, without any additional human discretionary act.

Lord Jesus ask the healed leper to go, with a specific instructions, which are :
  • Dont tell anyone (of this miracles act of the Lord).
  • Show your self to the Priest.
  • Offer the gift (offerings) as commanded by Moses.
The Leper did none of the instructed, he do all that is forbidden by the Lord. He publish and tell everyone, this act we may considered as a act of good witness, spreading the good news.
However this is not what the Lord have wanted, for the the time has not came.

Because of this act, The Lord can not openly enter the city, for many are looking or Him, and He stayed in dessert places.

When we are not obedience, this will make the the miracle of the lord become far from our life.
And we're also making other can not experience the presence of the Lord Jesus.
